Activated through close proximity, these RTE switches control a SPCO relay with normally-closed or normally open contacts. Uses include signalling or switching of automatic doors, locks or any electronic equipment via the SPCO clean relay contacts.
Proximity-operated, no physical contact required
Simply hold something, such as your hand near the switch and it will operate. Ideal for use in clean
rooms where minimum or no contact with objects is required to reduce the risk of cross-contamination for hygiene.
Ideal for operating automatic doors or equipment
The SPCO switching relay clean contacts can switch other equipment or signal to other systems.
12V or 24V DC-Operating
During installation a power source of 12V DC or 24V DC can be connected to power this switch to operate, using just <55mA of power.
Single pole change-over (SPCO) relay switching
The clean contacts provide a solution for all RTE applications with the ability for engineers to make
or break
circuits of up to 30V 1A.
Optional sounder & LED
Each unit contains a bleep sounder and green LED indicator that show when the switch is operated. These can easily be disabled during installation if required.
